519 Greene Street, Augusta, Georgia, the home of Bowdre Phinizy, editor of the Augusta Herald, lived here. He was a friend of Woodrow Wilson who visited him in 1911 to discuss a possible Presidential campaign. The Phinizy family came from Italy and settled in Georgia.
