However, notices of marriages and engagements were broadly scattered throughout old newspapers (The designation "n" maans that it came from a newspaper record. He was a friend of Woodrow Wilson who visited him in 1911 to discuss a possible Presidential campaign. The Phinizy family came from Italy and settled in Georgia.
